In an effort to get some activity on MORCA’s blog, its been suggested we use it as a sort of story board. Have an interesting encounter while out on the trails? Ride something new and exciting for you? Come across any interesting animals while out on the trails? Perhaps you’ve been riding in Fort Ord since before it was “open” … surely you’ve got some pretty interesting tales. Let’s read it folks … what have you got to share!?
Once you register to be a user of the MORCA blog you will be permitted to post comments to existing discussions. The site administrator will be notified of a new member and approve you as an ‘author’. This allows you to start discussion threads of your own. Please be patient as this is a manual review to minimize abuse of this service.
To post a message, visit ‘Site Admin’ in the right column. You will be taken to the ‘Dashboard’. Select ‘Write’ There are a series of options you can toggle and select by clicking the ‘+’ symbol. One of the options is the category under which you can place your topic. Categories include: Advocacy, Rides, Trails, Volunteer, and Blog help. If your discussion thread doesn’t fit well into any of the provided categories, use the catch-all ‘etc…’.
Feel free to write to your heart’s content and save as you go using the ’save and continue editing’ option. Once you are happy w/ your submission, be sure ‘Post Status’ is set to ‘Published.’ This ensures that all users can read your topic and participate in discussion.
