Sat Nov 11 8:30AM-12; East Garrison gate of the Old Ft Ord; $50; class is limited to first 6. This is a beginner clinic. Bring a Mtn bike in good working order (tuned up, good tires, brakes that work,clip in pedals or just flat pedals), helmet, gloves, water, snack, layered clothing, a great attitude for fun and learning! It will be designed for anyone who has fears and anxiety about riding their mtn bike in the dirt, or just needs some tips to feel more confident. We will cover balance issues, clipping in and out (if you have clip- in pedals and shoes with cleats), shifting effeciently, steering and turning, descending (fast and slow), climbing, bunny hopping, planning and keeping your line and training techniques. If you have specific needs or desires, we can address them also!
Sat Dec 2 8:30AM-12; Creekside Trailhead of the Old Ft Ord; $50; class is limited to first 6. This is an advanced beginner clinic. This clinic will include more advanced skills and a higher fitness level. We will be riding the more technical trails of the Sea Otter course.
Sat Dec 9 all day; Wilder Ranch and UCSC trails; $100; class is limited to first 4. This is an intermediate/advanced clinic. These are very technical trails and include lots of climbing and descending. There are many obstacles and exciting surprises on these trails! This event may be pushed to Dec 10 depending on interest.
