Life Time Sea Otter Classic 2026

April 16-19, 2026

MORCA will once again be providing volunteers to support the Sea Otter Classic. As well as participating in the kick off cycling event of the year, volunteering for this event helps raise funds for MORCA, drives membership for IMBA and MORCA and helps MORCA gain name recognition in the local community.

For volunteer opportunities, at the Kids Ride Area, in the MORCA Booth or helping on the Dual Slalom course.  See the details below.

Volunteer opportunities include:

Family Zone - Kids Ride Area and Dual Slalom

Register to volunteer with the Sea Otter Classic Foundation
    • Search for Family Zone or Dual Slalom in the list.
    • Select the shift(s) for which you want to register and complete the rest of the page. Enter your email address, Your information, choose your t-shirt size, select “Monterey Off Road Cycling Association” in the “Group – Organization Name” from the drop-down list and sign the electronic waiver.
      Click “Sign Up To Volunteer” and you are done. You will receive a confirmation email.

  • MORCA members can volunteer at the Lifetime Sea Otter Classic and obtain a free festival pass plus help raise funds to support MORCA.  MORCA recommends volunteering for the Family Zone – Kids Ride Area or the Dual Slalom. 
    • In return for the volunteer hours you contribute, the Sea Otter Classic donates to MORCA, which goes toward the maintenance of local Trails. 
    • As in past years all Volunteers will get a 4 day event pass, Volunteer T shirt and a bagged lunch for each day you volunteer.
  • The Sea Otter Classic uses an online volunteer platform called Volunteer Local.

MORCA Booth

Booth volunteers will be working at the MORCA Booth in the main festival area.

There should be two MORCA members for each shift.

Your primary role as a volunteer will be to share what we do as a local organization.
