Do you want a free ticket to Sea Otter Classic?

Do you know that MORCA has a long history of supporting this annual festival? This year we’re bringing our Bike Rodeo features to the Sea Otter Classic Kids’ Zone on April 18-21, 2024.

There are 3 areas where we could really use volunteer support:

  • Kids’ Zone – monitors
  • Dual Slalom – course marshals
  • MORCA Booth – greet visitors and spread the love

Just 1 shift as a volunteer gets you a free 4-day festival pass, lunch, t-shirt, and double fist bumps!

To volunteer for the Kids’ Zone or Dual Slalom:

  1. Click here
  2. Scroll down and search for “Kids Ride Zone” and/or “Dual Slalom Course marshals”
  3. Select the shift(s) you want
  4. Select “MORCA” in the [Group – Organization Name] dropdown list
  5. Provide your contact information, check the box to sign the electronic waiver, and type your digital signature
  6. Click the [Sign Up To Volunteer] button and you’re done

Apply your social and web savvy to support MORCA

Do you know a kid in a highschool league or a college student looking to build their resume through an unpaid internship? Send them our way! We need a Digital Communications Coordinator to help keep our website, newsletters, and social media posts fresh and on-point.

Join us at the Couch Canyon Bridge dedication

A formal dedication event is proposed for April 19th, immediately followed by the Fuego XL competitors racing across the bridge at the 2024 Sea Otter Classic!

We’ll be inviting the press and the Bureau of Land Management will issue a news release.

Are you interested in being part of the action?

What's happening to Creekside's Trail 31S?

We’re re-routing the trail to something much more fun and sustainable!

A ribbon-cutting is penciled in for March 30th, but stay tuned for the official announcement.

The old route is returning to nature, and we’re working hard to finish the new route.

We need YOUR help on March 16th to get this trail finished. How about we buy you lunch in exchange for your blood, sweat, and tears?

Hurray for Porta-Potties at 8th & Gigling!

They’ve arrived!

We’re so thankful for community support and our partnership with County of Monterey Parks to make this happen.

We’ve raised $13,500 of the total $21,000 needed to cover this project for 3 years. Please, please, please, consider pitching in anything you can spare to help us keep these units clean.

Come check out the Fort Ord race on March 30th

We love Repack Racking and B-17 Racing for their focus on making events inclusive, and they show us love by raising funds to support MORCA’s trail work.

The NorCal Crusher Cup race series kicks off at Fort Ord on March 30th! This is a 5-race series featuring venues across the Bay Area, including Fort Ord, Lake Sonoma, DeLaveaga Park, Skyline Park and Stafford Lake. The Crusher Cup team is hard at work putting together a blazing start to the series at the beloved Fort Ord venue! Find out more details about the Fort Ord race here.
