It is that time of year again as we head toward elections at our November meeting.
From now through the close of the Monday, October 3 meeting, we are soliciting nominations for MORCA directors. There are six directors on the board.
Our Bylaws state the nominee must be a member in good standing as of September 30,(2015).
We solicit nominations through the end of the October meeting.
The balloting runs from October 15 through the end of the November meeting.
If more than six folks run, the top six persons are the selected directors.
The directors select the President, VP, Treasurer, Secretary plus two members-at-large.
Nominees should care about MORCA and its mission and be willing to attend two MORCA meetings per month (as feasible), take on leadership tasks, enjoy volunteering and attend other meetings and events to represent the club. We work with directors to find a good meeting date. Presently, directors meet on the last Monday of the month (sometimes Tuesday) at 6 PM and the regular meeting is the first Monday of the month at 6:30 PM.
Note that other members who are not directors lead committees and special projects. We try to spread the work around as much as possible so no one person is overburdened.

Joel Trice, President (He will not run again due to family obligations).
Phil Craig, VP (I am not sure of Phil’s plans as he is out of town; need to confirm)
Nick Madronio, Treasurer (Nick is willing to run and serve again)
Henrietta Stern, Secretary (Henri is willing to run and serve again)
Sue Benjaram, Member-at-Large (Sue is willing to run and serve again)
Brian Tomasini, Member-at-Large (Brian is willing to run and serve again)
