School is back in session and MORCA’s annual Take A Kid Mountain Biking Day Event, sponsored by Montage Health, is coming. MORCA is looking to our greater MTB community to help us spread the word and consider volunteering for one of Monterey County’s best youth outdoor recreation events of the year!

As always, this event is free to attendees and welcomes all children, including those who don’t have a bike or helmet of their own. The Community Bike Collective will be providing loaner bikes and helmets to kids who need them. This event is a great opportunity for newcomers and beginners to get acquainted with cycling in a safe and supportive setting.

Fun for all Kids from Pre-School to High School and Beginners to Experts

Local high school riders from the Monterey Bay Lightfighters and Salinas High School Cowboys MTB teams will be leading trail rides and marshaling MORCA’s popular kid-friendly obstacle courses.

The Kids Zone obstacle course caters to beginners whether on balance bikes or pedal bikes, and the Adventures Zone course invites kids to take it up a notch with some added challenges – all within the safe confines of a closed area with plenty of marshals to cheer kids on and keep them upright.

MORCA raffle prizes and giveaways from local vendors add to the excitement and help make this welcoming community event MORCA’s most popular event every year. Join this awesome Monterey County tradition and join the fun!

HELP THE NEXT GENERATION OF RIDERS ROLL ONWARD AND UPWARD BY VOLUNTEERING!

Volunteers have plenty of fun at this event too! Help us out from 9am-1:30pm, we guarantee the day will pass quickly with all the fun and excitement. Your community service is greatly appreciated.
